Basic Requirements

We consider stories and poems on any subject, all year round, by writers 13 and younger. The maximum length for a Stone Soup story is 10,000 words. There is no minimum length.

Special Instructions for Teachers

Be sure that each entry includes the student's name, age, birthdate, address, parent's name, parent's email address, and parent's phone number in the header or on a cover page. Limit: 10 stories or poems per classroom submission.
